Pre-Order: Jerome Miniere – La Derive Des Reves [CD]

Description

This new album, urgent and human, explores our uncertain times. It showcases Jrme Minire’s DIY electronic roots, his love of jazz, film scores, and sentimental, minimalist, contemporary, and classical music. Numerous collaborations contribute to the richness of the arrangements: Poirier, Salom Leclerc, Albin de la Simone, Eric Deleporte (of PERIO), Matthieu Malon, Guido Del Fabbro and Philippe Brault (strings), Guillaume Bourque (clarinets), and Jos Major (drums). This eclectic musical labyrinth, halfway between the past and the present, intimate and universal, is threaded through by a single emotional, poetic, and minimalist guiding thread. Jrme Minire uses his own unique words to reflect on the crises shaking our era, from the rise of extremism to the boom in AI
